Committees

Legislative Committee



Members of this committee are responsible for keeping chapter members informed of legislative activity affecting
NP practice and issues related to the healthcare of children.
 
Members work as liaisons with other nursing organizations to stay informed about legislative issues and to encourage our members to support legislative initiatives. Members also publicize the annual lobbying day in Harrisburg.


Much of the work of this committee can be done by phone or email.

Education Committee

Members of this committee plan the Chapter's evening educational programs, Spring dinner meeting and annual Fall conference.

Committee members determine and organize the Chapter's educational programs; arrange speakers, AV equipment, meeting place, sponsors;
and register members at meetings. 



Members of this committee generally meet every other month.

Grant Committee

Our chapter awards a $500 grant annually to support member projects or small research studies. 

Members of this committee publicize and distribute the Grant application; review submissions and select the grant recipient.

This committee usually meets 1-2 times a year.
